SOME ANSWERS FOR YOU...
ABOUT THAT'S IT
That’s It is a New Zealand skin protection brand built for people who move. The Australian range covers anti-chafe, chamois cream, blister prevention, muscle recovery, and skin repair, all formulated around the principle of nothing but the good stuff, and That’s it. Every product is designed to work together as part of one system.
Yes. The range is built around performance first. Natural ingredients only make the cut if they can deliver. We don’t put Mānuka oil in the formula because it's a good story; it's in there because it has proven high triketones, which contain antibacterial properties backed by science and centuries of use. The same goes for every other ingredient. Nothing is added just because it looks good on a label.
The range is used across running, cycling, hiking, hunting, surfing, swimming, and everyday active use. Whether you’re training for an ultramarathon, heading out for a weekend ride, or just spending a long day on your feet, there’s a product in the range built for it.
The Skin-Gear System is the three-stage framework behind how the products work together: Prepare, Perform, Recover. Rather than treating each product as a standalone item, the system is designed to protect skin at every stage of activity, before, during and after.
Take a runner heading out for a long training run. Before they leave, they apply Anti-Chafe Gel to inner thighs, underarms and chest, and work some Blister Stop Wool into the toes. Out on the trail, they top up Anti-Chafe Gel at the halfway point, where things are starting to heat up. Back home, Hot Rub goes into tight calves and quads, and any hotspots or skin niggles get sorted with Rescue Gel.
Same system, every sport. The products are designed to layer and work together from start to finish.
Our products are made on our farm in Taranaki, New Zealand, where That’s It is based.
We’re proud to cultivate a unique regional variant of Mānuka on our farm in South Taranaki, New Zealand, where mānuka is naturally high in triketones, the group of organic compounds responsible for mānuka oil's potent antibacterial activity. Triketone concentration varies significantly by region, and high-triketone oil is widely regarded as the benchmark for quality in natural skin care formulations. Growing our own means that we control the source from the ground up.

PRODUCT HELP
Yes. The range is designed as a system: Prepare, Perform, Recover.
- Prepare: Apply Anti-Chafe Gel or Chamois Cream before you head out, and Blister Stop Wool in the shoes.
- Perform: Top up Anti-Chafe Gel as needed during long days.
- Recover: Hot Rub for tight muscles; Rescue Gel for any cuts, scrapes, or skin niggles afterwards.
The whole range is built to layer with natural actives and no clashing ingredients.
No. All products are made with natural oils and waxes. If applied generously, they may leave a temporary mark on fabric, but it will wash out in a standard warm wash with regular detergent.
Both reduce friction and prevent chafing. The differences come down to texture, use case, and personal preference.
- Chamois Cream: a lightweight, breathable cream designed for time in the saddle. Works seamlessly with your chamois for long-lasting comfort on the bike.
- Anti-Chafe Gel: a lanolin-based gel formula that creates a more durable barrier across high-friction areas anywhere on the body. Ideal for multi-sport use.
The key functional difference: Anti-Chafe contains lanolin, which conditions skin and softens calluses. Particularly useful if you’re already dealing with irritation or pressure points.

MĀNUKA & KĀNUKA OIL
Mānuka oil is extracted directly from the leaves of the Leptospermum scoparium plant, native to New Zealand. It’s concentrated, lightweight, and fast-absorbing, with natural antibacterial properties that make it well-suited for protecting and conditioning active skin.
Both come from the mānuka plant, but they’re produced differently. Honey is made by bees, while the oil is extracted directly from the plant, making it more concentrated. Mānuka honey is thicker and commonly used for wound dressings; diluted mānuka oil is lightweight, fast-absorbing, and suited to everyday use on skin. Mānuka Oil is 1,000x stronger than Mānuka Honey in terms of antibacterial and antimicrobial potency due to the high concentration of bioactive compounds, called triketones.
A triketone is an organic compound containing three ketone (carbon-oxygen) groups in its molecular structure. In the context of mānuka oil, the naturally occurring triketones, including flavesone, leptospermone, and iso-leptospermone, are the compounds responsible for its potent antimicrobial activity. These triketones give mānuka oil a broader antibacterial range than tea tree oil, and their concentration varies by region; mānuka sourced from the South Taranaki region of New Zealand is particularly high in them, making it the ideal location for the That’s It plantation for quality in skin care formulations.
Tea tree oil is widely used but can be drying and harsh on skin. Mānuka oil delivers powerful antibacterial support with a more balanced, skin-friendly profile, making it better suited for regular use. It also contains different natural compounds that give it a broader antimicrobial effect.
Yes. Mānuka is a native New Zealand tree, found in abundance among bush and scrub across New Zealand. We’re proud to cultivate a unique regional variant of Mānuka on our South Taranaki farm, renowned for its exceptionally high triketone levels.
Yes. All products are made from 100% natural ingredients and are safe for everyday use by the whole family.
Kānuka oil is a fast-absorbing oil that is naturally rich in α-pinene and helps calm irritated skin while supporting muscle comfort.
Yes. Kānuka oil is naturally anti-inflammatory, helping calm the body’s response to strain and overuse. When applied to tired or tight areas, it can take the edge off soreness and support recovery.
